2013 Visit to Uganda

Easy Come - Hard To Go
It is impossible to share all the awesome stories and experiences that the team had while in Uganda. We were all amazed at what God had done in such a short time. The school was in full gear with an amazing staff. Emanuel, the headmaster, is such a spirit filled man and truly understand and embraces the vision of SGU. His love and devotion for our children is immeasurable. To experience life at the children's village is a little taste of simplicity mixed with a deep devotion to the Lord. At evening worship we would all gather in a big circle in front of the children's homes as the sun quickly disappeared. The darkness is like nothing you can imagine. The children would start singing praise and worship songs while beating on a drum. The beautiful sounds would echo through the fields to neighboring homes in the community. These children have much to be thankful for and hold nothing back to Him who saved them. They are so grateful for you also and all that you do for them.  They speak as if they know you and hope one day you will come for a visit.
